Cardstock Abyss

Cardstock Abyss is a game about rapidly switching between different cards to defeat a horde of mechanical enemies. Picking up cards changes your abilities and strengths - but you are only able to harness one card at a time.

How long can you survive in the abyss?

If you're stuck or confused, here are some tips:

-Hover your mouse over dropped cards to swap to that card. Each card has its own strength and abilities - but you can only use one at a time, so choose wisely.

-When swapping cards, the previous card you have will unleash its "discard ability" (check the top left corner to see which ability you have). Use this to your advantage to get out of any precarious situations!

-Keep an eye on your deck in the lower right corner. It's essentially your ammo, and you have to occasionally stop shooting to let the deck recharge. Keep in mind, picking up new cards replenishes your deck!

This game was made in two days for Mini Jame Gam #31. If I had more time, I probably would've added a tutorial and more types of cards, but despite that I'm happy with how it turned out.
